PROVIDENCE, R.I. [Brown University] — With interests ranging from the environmental history of the Arctic to cancer biology to Arabic literature, 47 new faculty members will begin their work at Brown during the upcoming academic year.
"This outstanding group of scholars and teachers are from a wide variety of disciplines across the University and from a set of diverse backgrounds," said Dean of the Faculty Kevin McLaughlin. "What they all have in common is an extraordinary capacity to enhance Brown's strengths in key academic areas."
