
PROVIDENCE, R.I. [Brown University] — With research and teaching expertise in fields ranging from the ecology of the African savanna to the intersection of moral philosophy and literary theory, 40 new professors and lecturers will join the Brown University faculty in the 2017-18 academic year.
"We are excited to welcome our new faculty members to the Brown community," said Dean of the Faculty Kevin McLaughlin. "They represent a diverse group of academics who are engaged in innovative research and scholarship that furthers Brown’s commitment to academic excellence and creates a vibrant learning environment for our students."
